Approving a proposal or asking for changes

Help › Your trip

Say yes to your proposal, or tell your travel advisor what you'd like changed.

When your travel advisor sends you a proposal, you can approve it or ask for changes right from your trip page.

Who can do this: the trip's lead traveler, and anyone with full access. Someone with limited access can view the trip but can't approve it or ask for changes.

Approving

Choose Approve on your trip page. You can add a note for your travel advisor if you like. If there's more than one option, you'll pick the one you want as you approve.

  • You approve what's on your screen. If your travel advisor has sent an update since you opened the page, you'll be asked to look at it first.
  • Approving doesn't charge you anything. Your travel advisor will be in touch about the next steps.
  • If there's a date to reply by, you can approve until then. After it, ask your travel advisor for an updated proposal.
  • If you're traveling as one of several groups on the same trip, each group sees and approves its own part and its own price.

Once you've approved, your travel advisor is told right away.

Asking for changes

Choose Ask for changes and tell your travel advisor what you'd like different — a hotel, a date, an activity, anything. They're told right away, and they'll send you an updated proposal.

Your travel advisor may include a set number of rounds of changes. If you'd like to know how theirs works, ask them.

Once a proposal is approved, changes go through your travel advisor directly rather than the page.
